Wellbeing Wellbeing
Summary of the year

Important events throughout the year.

The Wellbeing Department works to promote and protect the social and emotional wellbeing of all DIS pupils, families and staff. By partnering with different members of the DIS community, our department works to ensure that all students are academically, socially and emotionally prepared to become empathetic and balanced individuals of the global community. We work proactively and reactively to ensure sound emotional development, which in turn allows pupils to flourish both within the classroom and beyond their time in school. The Wellbeing Department helps develop policies that promote a positive and healthy school environment, such as antibullying policies and disciplinary procedures that support the wellbeing of the students. The department is active in liaising with external agencies such as mental health services to provide information and support to students and staff In the Well -Being Hub we have dedicated space for holistic support for all students in Secondary.
