Here at the DIS Sustainability Council, we are committed to fostering a sustainable future by promoting eco -consciousness and encouraging students and teachers to take actionable steps towards mitigating their environmental impact.

Our mission is to raise awareness of environmental issues and facilitate the adoption of sustainable practices among our members and the wider community.

The Trashion Show was an innovative approach to combine fashion and sustainability

Students created unique and stylish pieces of clothing using recyclable materials. By walking the runway, the students not only showcased their creativity and skills, but they also demonstrated how recycling can be integrated into the fashion industry.

The initiative was further reinforced by the Sustainability Council's decision to use recycled materials for all the decorations, which highlighted the importance of reducing waste and promoting the concept of upcycling.
