This year we were delighted to introduce two new IGCSE’s to the department; Photography and Textiles; a fantastic opportunity for our students to specialise in an area of Art & Design.

Our Year 9 students embraced the opportunity to experience both Photography and Textiles at IGCSE level to make informed choices for the IGCSE options.

As part of the CAS launch, students experienced drawing to the sounds of music in the style of Russian artist Kandinsky

We were thrilled for the IGCSE and IB Fine Art students to have the exciting opportunity to work alongside British artist, Ian Murphy. The students explored mark-making, surface pattern and texture.

Our Year 10 Photography students had a fantastic and highly successful day photographing the natural landscape at Al Qudra, Flamingo and Love Lakes as part of their IGCSE project.

The Year 6 students thoroughly enjoyed their Art transition days in Secondary School creating felt and macro photography
