Psychology Society

The Psychology Society, launched in May 2021, aims to provide opportunities for IB students interested in Psychology to expand their knowledge on various topics. Weekly meetings have allowed members to communicate and collaborate on modern -day matters related to psychology. The society had a great opportunity of hosting a meeting with a guest speaker who discussed the application process, university lifestyle, and general content taught in a Psychology Bachelor's Program for those interested in studying abroad in the UK. The society's main goal is to provide a holistic overview of psychology fields and prepare enthusiasts for their future university programs or workplace. The society is also launching a podcast for students to have their discussions recorded, edited, and posted on a platform for the entire school to listen to, which will be a great addition to their CV.
Psychology is like a jigsaw puzzle. As you learn the content, you start putting the pieces together which forms our scientific understanding of the mind and behavior.
