This year has been an exciting one for Performing Arts as we ’ve finally been able to get lessons, events and CC As back on track fully with no restrictions for the first time since the pandemic. Students have been able to take part in a range of exciting opportunities like our Arts International workshops and trips taking our GCSE students to the Sharjah Rain Room exhibit and over 50 students to see West Side Story at Dubai Opera.

We have been able to return to the stage this year with a number of incredible performances. We kicked off the year with the House Music Festival and had a range of students from years 7 -11 performing in our DISPlay play festival. Across the year, numerous students have demonstrated their musical prowess in our lunch time Pop Up performances and at events like Autumn Fest, Winter Markets, Ted -Ex Youth and the BSME Games opening and closing ceremony. Most excitingly, we have our upcoming production of Aladdin Jr happening in June and we can ’t wait for everyone to see what our amazing cast have been up to!
