The Business and Economics department in Deira International school has been an extremely busy one this year. With the department’s relevance to today’s global economy, it has been important as a team that we have provided students opportunities to be able to contextualize what they are learning in the classroom. As a department we have been very active, with various programmes, clubs, and activities throughout the year, to engage our students and helping them develop practical business skills.

These fantastic opportunities have been made possible by the experience, commitment and dedication of our wonderful staff and wider school community. With the recent development of the Commerce Society in IB, we are excited about what opportunities will be provided through the Commerce department next year! Watch this space!
