Summary of the year.

It's been an amazing year in the Islamic department! Our students have been busy learning and growing in their knowledge and practice of Islam, from showcasing their amazing Quran recitation skills to practicing prayer and wudu, to showing off their creativity in the Islamic Art Competition. There were also some great leadership opportunities for our students this year, as they led awareness assemblies on “The Prophet’s Birthday” and “Ramadan”. Ramadan was a highlight of the year, as students fasted, prayed and engaged in community service projects that exemplified the values of compassion, empathy, and social responsibility.
