Year 4 Year 4
What an incredible year it has been, one filled with memories that will last a life time. The Year 4 teachers have continually reflected on just how lucky we have been to have such an amazing cohort of children to teach. We continue to be inspired by their collaboration, resilience and general thirst for learning. From the start of the year, the children were immersed in our first fluid topic, where English, MSCS, Science and Topic all came together for our big question: Were the Romans risky? The children were quickly involved in our Romulus game, using their knowledgeable learner attribute to connect their learning to earn Roman coins for their classes. It all came together with our first amazing Parental Engagement, inviting our parents in to our student -led ‘Live Museum’. Year 4 ventured out of the classroom, experiencing the La Fontana Circus, Ecoventure and EXPO, creating lasting moments and building friendships along the way too. The ‘Our Planet, Your Future’ topic pushed our reflective children to respond to worldwide issues, and our ‘Pokémon’ topic took our children by surprise, with some even saying ’How is this
