Foundation stage 2

Through the themes ‘Flash! Bang! Sparkle!’, ‘ROAR!’ and ‘Splash!’ FS2 read many stories both fiction and non-fiction, explored different countries, conducted science experiments and engaged in role play scenarios. These activities enabled the children to develop their communication skills and further build relationships with their peers. Through independent challenges and adult led activities the children have learnt to apply the learner attributes skills to grow into confident readers, writers, mathematicians and scientists.

FS2 have had so many wonderful highlights this year. We enjoyed taking part in many different theme days, celebrations and events. Such as;

Minibeast Dress Up Day, whereby children dressed up as their favorite minibeasts and explored their life cycles

- Exciting school trips, such as Oli Oli and Pizza Express,

- The Chinese New Year, with older students came to teach us all about the Chinese traditions.

- Career’s Day, with special guest super -hero parents teaching us all about their jobs,

- National Day celebrations, learning all about the UAE culture and heritage.
