As part of the program, students are required to sign a contract committing them to skills and strategies that will enhance their college readiness. More than 50 students and 15 staff members at RMS and Ramstein Intermediate School are involved in the RMS AVID program.

‘Why I’m optimistic about our nation’s future’ Ramstein High School sophomores Amethyst Rorie, Myles Davis and Emily Sinkular pose for a photo with principal Greg Hatch after taking the top three places in the local Voice of Democracy Contest, which is sponsored every year by the VFW. This year’s theme was: “Why I’m optimistic about our nation’s future.” The students will move on to the next round of competition in hopes of winning the prize of $30,000 in scholarships.
