It felt like just yesterday when we started summer, and here we are, proudly presenting A-Desiflava's Diwali special issue. After facing the heat and rains of summer, we will soon celebrate a festival that burns off evil and sparks the fire for a shower of prosperity and happiness.
To commemorate the festive season, we hear from Anita Chhatpar, the maestro of domestic Diwali decorations. Since the past two decades, she continues to etch devotional Rangoli and thali designs that also ooze of creativity. After decorating our spaces, we then learn about the significance behind our prayers and idols, both of which form the fulcrum of the festival. Before Diwali though, we will celebrate Navratri with
our special event, Navratri Utsav. With festivities, religion, and spirituality being the mood and flava of our magazine issue, our globetrotter too ventured off to a holy - and mystic - place:
