Indeed, it can only be God! He has been good, and all we can say is thank you, Jesus. It is pretty interesting

When God paved the way for the family of Pastor Toks- The senior Pastor of RCCG REHOBOTH ASSEMBLY, to move to Calgary ten years ago, it seemed to many who heard about it that we were leaving certainty for uncertainty.

A senior Pastor in the Church said, have you lost your mind? How can you leave a thriving church in the Middle East and go to an already occupied place, starting again from ground zero? We did not know that it was not only him who had this sentiment; many others expressed it too but never shared it with us. Early this year, Pastor Toks was with someone close to some of our friends and ministry leaders in Qatar. And he told him that they all thought he was irrational in abandoning a beautiful career

over 1,000 worshipers, to go to a place where no one knew him. But as Pastor has said many times during his sermon, leaving Qatar was easy for our family for good reasons, some of which we will share here.

Firstly, It was a God-packaged answer to a prayer: Before we moved to Qatar, we prayed that we would not want to spend more than seven years there and God should take us to another place after that. We moved to Qatar on May 3rd, 2006, and left at midnight on May 2nd, 2013, precisely seven years as we prayed. God did not even allow us to spend a penny from our pocket for this relocation; all expenses were entirely paid by the company that offered us a new job in Calgary.

These early days, spent in the corridors of the Best Western Hotel, have laid the foundation for the unity and strength of the RAC technical team today. Fast forward to today, and these volunteers have evolved into an exceptional technical team. Their responsibilities have expanded beyond the conventional, from fine-tuning the ambiance with masterful lighting to seamlessly integrating sound, audio-visuals, and live streams into our worship services. In a way, they’ve turned buttons and cables into channels of connection with the Divine.
