My heart is overwhelming with gratitude as we celebrate a decade of running with the Adoniaa vision. It’s such an honour to carry the Adoniaa vision and to be able to clearly articulate it to the hundreds of women that run with it.
This year, we celebrate a decade of running Adoniaa with a theme so close to my heart – ‘Miracles Happen!’
The Adoniaa story is indeed a miracle!
Miracle in this context for me is the execution of a divine Vision, and honestly, everyday of running with the Adoniaa dream is indeed a miracle!
The mandate was clear in October 2014- To help women step into their power by empowering them to connect to their individual and unique beauty so that they can live fuller and more expressive lives.
Since 2014, Adoniaa has empowered women at different stages of life through various visionary expressions anchoring on the vision to empower women.
Let me take you on the Adoniaa journey by highlighting major milestones in the last decade!
2014 - Adoniaa was launched with a Fall Makeup Party at my house in Aberdeen, Scotland UK in October 2014.
2015 - Adoniaa launched its very first product, an 8-piece brush set in the spring of 2015 in Aberdeen,UK and later moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada in the fall of that year, September 2015.
2016 - Adoniaa launched a full line of private label beauty products which included 24 Lipstick colours, 19 shades of foundation and Skincare ,products which included a cleanser, toner ,serum and moisturizer. This launch event was themed Unmask Your beauty event.It was also the maiden Unmask Your Beauty Event.
2017 - Adoniaa launched her first beauty store called “A place of Makeup and Magnificence” to serve women with all their beauty needs ranging from services such as makeup, facials , lashes and brows to medical aesthetic services.
2018 - Adoniaa launched the Teen Beauty Camp, a teenage outreach program created to boost teenage girls’ self confidence.
2019 - Adoniaa opened her first mall location.
2020 - Adoniaa birthed the ‘unmask your beauty’ book. A book that intertwined my story and the story of Adoniaa.
2021 - Adoniaa launched the unmask your beauty community - A community where we provide tools and resources for women to execute their visions and goals so that they can thrive in life, career and business. We also launched the first edition of the Unmask your beauty Magazine in 2021.
2022 – Adoniaa opened the AdoniaaCollective Store to showcase entrepreneurs, especially black entrepreneurs in one physical retail space for high visibility. We have since experience lots of announcement wealth from local news stations.
2023 – Adoniaa launched a full line of private-label medicalgrade skincare line as part of the Adoniaabeauty skincare line –This medical-grade skincare line works excellently for different skin conditions. This is to empower women to love the skin they are in by taking good care of it and loving it.
2024 – Adoniaa launched AdoniaaRealestate Company - An organization focused on helping families find their perfect homes. As with everything we do, we hope to empower women to see the possibilities in building wealth through real estate.

Adedoyin Omotara, often referred to as the rapid execution queen, is a Beauty Entrepreneur, women’s empowerment advocate, speaker, life coach, business coach and the leader of the unmask your beauty movement. Her passion to live a fuller and more expressive life made her leave her successful Corporate Engineering career to become an entrepreneur.
Seeking the spiritually creative fulfilment missing in her successful corporate career, She determined to resolve the concern that beauty today, far from being that poetic ‘joy forever’ is unfortunately a source of insecurity, shame and stress for countless women. Felicia Feyi Ogunfowora Lekan-Salami Dee
Dotun Ogunfowora is a Registered Psychologist licensed with the College of Alberta Psychologists, with specialized training in Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, and Formal Assessments (including Forensic, Psychosocial Educational, and Mental Health assessments). She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a minor in Business Economics and Law, a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, and is currently completing a Doctor of Psychology program.
Her name, Dotun, translates to “renew” or “become new” in Yoruba, reflecting her commitment to helping clients renew their perspectives and co-create sustainable, pragmatic solutions that fit their lifestyles. Utilizing a variety of treatment approaches, Dotun provides compassionate support to clients of all ages and from diverse backgrounds. She brings a comprehensive understanding of psychology and common mental health concerns to her practice and consistently upholds her responsibilities to clients, offering insight and support as they navigate unique challenges and circumstances.

Feyi Dee is a Calgary-based singer and songwriter. She has written and published over a dozen singles and an album titled Heart to Heart.
Feyi has also written, performed, and published theme songs for organizations, including Unmask Your Beauty and Sedulous Women for the Unmask Your Beauty Annual Women’s Conference and Sedulous Women Inc., respectively.
In HR, Feyi builds leaders and helps develop strategies to meet organizational goals, bridging the gap between employees and employers to foster productive relationships. She is passionate about HR’s potential to impact lives positively at all levels.
Through her music, Feyi aims to remind listeners of hope and reassure them that they’re not alone in their journey.

Kemi Seedy is an Executive HR Professional, real estate agent, and pastor. As a corporate and religious leader, Kemi is dedicated to advancing her community through HR capacity building, financial empowerment, and spiritual growth.

Tosan Veronica Victoria Joe Sule Okuku
Tosan Joe is a marketing professional in the oil and gas industry and a parttime special events manager for an NGO in Calgary. She is committed to personal growth, intentional about gratitude, and passionate about leaving a positive impact on the lives of those she encounters.
A pillar in her immediate community, family, and friends, Tosan fulfills this role mindfully and effortlessly. Her benevolence, empathy, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking skills are foundational to who she is.
Tosan is also an emerging actress and engages in social commentary. Above all, she describes her greatest role as being a mother to her three children, one of whom is neurodivergent.

Her passion for improving healthcare is evident in her clinical, teaching, research, and administrative leadership across both private and hospital sectors in multiple countries.
Dr. Sule is committed to fostering diversity and an inclusive workplace culture. She is also a life coach and public speaker, and her podcast, The Passionate Dentist Podcast, focuses on the journeys of foreign-trained dentists and healthcare professionals practicing in North America.
