Located in one of Portugal's regions with the greatest wine tradition, Adega de Azueira was founded in 1959, in the locality of Carrascal, region of Lisbon.
As a result of the reconversions of vineyards made in recent years, mostly located in the municipalities of Mafra and Torres Vedras, the Adega de Azueira has increased its production of certified wines with IGP Lisboa and DOC Torres Vedras, underlining in this way the focus on the quality of its wines.

PRODUCTION
Adega de Azueira has a storage capacity of 20 million litres, which currently almost entirely satisfies its needs in this regard.
As for production, it has been around 11 million litres per campaign. The best quality wines have been gaining more and more relevance, already representing 35% of total production.
We are equipped with several grape receiving bins for red and white grapes, where we distinguish the different varieties in order to produce the best wines. We have a series of stainless steel deposit blocks to guarantee quality in fermentation and storage, and traditional cement deposits are still an essential part, creating a direct link with the tradition of a winery.
For greater control and quality in the production of our wines, we have deposits with cold equipment for controlled fermentation and pneumatic presses that maximise quality in the extraction of the grape juice.
In terms of finished product, we have a totally automated bottling line, both for bottles and bag in box, with a capacity to produce 30.000 bottles/day and 5.000 bag in box/day, respectively.
GOALS
We intend to continue to produce wines of quality and excellence and to develop brands with innovative designs that meet the expectations and demands not only of the national market but also of the international markets.
Our goal is to be a reference in the national and international wine market, due to the quality/price ratio of our wines and the innovation expressed in the design of our brands.
The quality that time perfects... Since 1959.
