The Human Resources Committee and the VP of Human Resources continue to be dedicated to supporting the wonderful staff at Adath, particularly during this time of dealing with the COVID 19 pandemic and its impact on our congregation. We continue to provide support and guidance including the staff’s development, implementation, and maintenance of sound employment practices, and to acting in an advisory capacity to the President, Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees regarding issues dealing with employment contracts, policies, practices and procedures. Thank you to the congregants who have served on this committee and to those who have offered professional guidance and counsel regarding HR matters on a volunteer basis. Marketing and Communications This past year has been focused on building, streamlining, and upgrading Adath communications so that we could continue to come together as a community during the isolation of the pandemic. We took advantage of this year to do a major makeover and remodel of Adath communications, bringing it up to speed with these digital times. In the coming year, we plan to solidify our infrastructure and processes so that we can sail smoothly into the future. 1. We onboarded two new outstanding members of our communications team: Mikaela Bush, and Talor Blustin. They have allowed us to manage the volume of communications needs during COVID-19 and take on projects that we would have never had the capacity to take on such as: Congregants of Adath: sharing the stories, passions, or pursuits of our congregants, so that our community can get to know each other and become closer. Re-designing the Adath Foundation Website. Re-designing the Adath Website. Re-designing and maintaining Adath's social media presence. We are in the process of creating a B'nai Mitzvah Online Portal Last year we promised to create a visual identity for Adath that spans all its channels of communications. We've nearly completed this process in a short amount of time thanks to our new professional staff. 1. We streamlined our communications, cutting down on costs, promoting efficiency and giving control to our congregants. Adath Foundation website is now on Adath's website. We consolidated our email marketing services to one. We use data we gather from Zoom to cater our communications to people's interests and give options to our congregants on what they want to hear from us about and how often. We've nearly completed consolidating our Social media accounts. We will be creating re-imagined non-digital communication pieces for a targeted audience of non-technology users, cutting down on print costs and paper waste. 2. We continue to be committed to user friendliness. Creating online registrations like we did for Gan Shelanu Organizing our communications in a way that it's clear where to click to join a program, and how to reach out for help.
