Αction Filed Kodra in its 11th edition; The ten-year period in which this art festival has been in existence coincides with the consolidation of contemporary art in Greece. Or, more accurately, with the emergence of contemporary art in Greece as an autonomous, distinctive field: it was during this decade that contemporary art museums were established, private and public art-related entities came into being, major events were regularly organized, with the explicit or implicit intention to document, to promote, or to determine movements, regularities, and turning points.
