School Fees for 2012-‐2013 As announced at the parent meeting held in February and at the General Assembly, Cotopaxi is continuing to grow, and that growth is having an impact on the Board of Trustee’s efforts to assure maximum value for all our students. The current budget for next school year is projecting a tuition adjustment in two areas: the overall set of general fee increases and the another in the discount offered to self-‐payers for the last six years. General school fees will be increasing less than inflation and is expected to be 4%. Second, the Board believes that the difference between corporate fees and self-‐payer fees should be gradually narrowed and has voted to reduce that discount by one point per year over the next five years, effective with school year 2012-‐2013. The Board has also determined that the fees for supplementary special education services should cover a larger portion of the actual cost of providing those services and has the Director to make the needed adjustments over the next two to three years.
