Welcome to Barnard! The best advice I can offer you is that your experience here will be what you make of it. Maintaining a growth mindset and positive attitude will also only serve you well. Be accountable, take ownership of your decisions and behavior, and know that this is an incredibly special time that inevitably goes by way too fast – you’ll never get another start at Barnard, so embrace it fully! I was born and raised in Princeton, NJ to Korean immigrant parents, and NYC – tied with Seoul – are my two favorite cities in the world. I have worked in higher education and student affairs the past 15+ years, love travel, and prefer walking over any other mode of transportation. Feel free to ask me for any park, restaurant, or activity recs around the city!

Hello, and welcome! I lead our ISS office in our initiatives to support international students upon their acceptance to Barnard, throughout their time at Barnard, and through their employment after graduation. We ensure that international students are familiar and comfortable with U.S. rules and regulations that govern their status, and that international students also feel settled at Barnard in New York City, their new home away from home! ISS is the first stop for any questions and concerns related to studying and living in the U.S.

Welcome to Barnard! In my position as Senior Advisor for OP students, I primarily provide holistic advising to HEOP and CSTEP students. I collaborate with offices and departments on campus to partner, network and connect with our students in making their dreams a reality. As a first-generation, low income graduate and former OP student, I appreciated the help and assistance I received from my advisor and I am incredibly grateful to offer the same help to my students. Please stop by my office any time for a chat!
