Meet the Team: Summer Student Leaders (SSLs)

Hello everyone! My name is Aseel, and I am a rising junior majoring in economics and Middle Eastern studies. I am beyond thrilled to serve as a global ambassador at Access Barnard for the upcoming year. I was born and raised in Jerusalem, Palestine, and I am excited to bring my unique perspective to this diverse community. Starting university can be overwhelming, but please know that you are not alone. At Barnard, you will be joining a diverse community of learners who come from all walks of life. This community will expose you to new ideas, perspectives, and experiences that will help you grow and develop as an individual. As you embark on this journey, my advice is to take advantage of the many resources available to you. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and seek help when needed. I am eager to assist you in any way I can, whether it’s answering your questions or providing you with inspiration and motivation.
