EVELYN DURAN: Walking in His Anointing and Grace

Gospel recording artist and songwriter Evelyn Duran is creating a lasting impression on the hearts of her audiences with her fresh, rich melodic vocals. The inspiring singer is highly motivated and guided by her faith as she continues her musical career.

Evelyn was born in the city of La Romana, Dominican Republic, to parents who were pastors and grandparents who instructed her to love and serve God and people. From childhood, Evelyn had a great interest in music and was introduced to singing by her parents and her older musician siblings.

From the age of 8, Evelyn began singing in missionary outreach, ministering to other children by teaching Bible classes and leading worship. Since her teen years, she has participated in various musical bands and worship ministries at her local church and collaborated in the recording of several Christian albums.

In 1996, Evelyn’s family moved to Miami, Florida, where she currently resides. There, she continued to grow in her musical journey and participated in the local church leadership.

Evelyn is the co-host of the television program Tiempos de Alabar, which is broadcast in the United States as well as several countries in Latin America, the

Caribbean, and Europe. Further, God has granted her the privilege to share the stage with several amazing Gospel recording artists.

In 2011, Evelyn recorded her first single in Miami, “Salmo 27,” which continues to be a blessing to many people. She then produced the single “Ven Sobre Todos” in 2020, a song praying that the Holy Spirit covers the world. In 2021, Evelyn released her first album “Dios Tu Eres Fiel.”

Evelyn is a part of the Quisqueya Canta al Señor Children's Foundation, whose objective is to focus on meeting the spiritual and physical needs of hundreds of children in the Dominican Republic.

Her goal in life has always been and will always be to exalt the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The best is yet to come!
