STACY “ELEVATED” WILSON: More Than Just a Singer

A native of St. Catherine, Jamaica, Stacy “Elevated” Wilson is the third of eight children, but she gained a brother from her father and his beautiful wife.

After relocating to Orlando 18 years ago, Stacy has served as worship leader for several ministries throughout Central Florida. “I love the Lord with all my heart, and I believe in singing and worshiping Him from the heart.”

For decades, Stacy desired to write and record her own music. In 2020, during the global pandemic, “the words began to flow like rivers of living water out of me—one song, two songs, three songs, four. The enemy thought I would give up, but I know that God has chosen me for this appointed time, and I want to inspire others through music to let their light shine.”

Stacy is married to her amazing husband, Codrington Ezroy Wilson. She has a beautiful daughter, Jheanel Johnson-Foster, and through marriage she gained two precious daughters, Tatiana and Codrice. Stacy is thrilled to be grandmother to her handsome grandson, Jahmiel, who is Jheanel’s son.

VBD Magazine had an opportunity to speak with the phenomenal artist about the gospel music industry, what inspires her to make music, and her upcoming projects.
