Un Lugar Tranquilo 2 John Krasinski (Jack Ryan) escribió, dirigió y protagonizó este film de suspense en el 2018 donde compartió pantalla con Emily Blunt (Al Filo del Mañana). Esta primera entrega costó unos 17 millones de dólares y una recaudación de más 340 millones. Ahora los dos vuelven a estar juntos en la segunda parte que está estimada a estrenarse para mayo de 2021. En ella se explicará, con flashbacks, cómo empezaron los eventos del film anterior, además, veremos a Evelyn Abbott (Blunt) desesperada buscando un nuevo refugio para su familia, que ahora lidera ella sola, y que luchará para poner a salvo a sus hijos, todo esto sin poder hacer el más mínimo ruido o morirán en el camino. En este trabajo audiovisual veremos también a actores como Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders) y Djimon Hounsou (Diamante de Sangre) entre otros.

We also see how a desperate Evelyn Abbott (Blunt) looks for a new refuge for her family, which she now leads alone, and fights to save her children, without being able to make the slightest noise, or they will die along the way. The film also features actors like Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders) and Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond).

La primera parte la dirigió Tony Scott (Déjà Vu), quien supo sacar el mayor provecho a las escenas en el aire que tanto popularizó a este film en 1986, combinada con una banda sonora alucinante. Ahora Joseph Kosinski (Oblivion) toma el mando para llevar de nuevo a Tom Cruise al aire interpretando a Pete Maverick, el gran piloto de élite de la Marina de los Estados Unidos, sin dejar atrás a Val Kilmer (Batman Forever) como Iceman y a Jennifer Connelly (Réquiem por un Sueño) como Penny Benjamin.

The first film was directed by Tony Scott (Déjà Vu), who knew how to make the most of the airborne scenes that made the film so popular in 1986, along with its unforgettable soundtrack. Now Joseph Kosinski (Oblivion) is taking the reins to bring Tom Cruise back into the air as United States Naval Aviator LT Pete Maverick, in addition to Val Kilmer (Batman Forever) as Iceman and Jennifer Connelly (Requiem for a Dream) as Penny Benjamin.
