That's me at LEDCON this year! :)
Hello everyone, my name's Abraham Kannard! I'm so excited to be this year's division 25s/31 LTG. To begin, I'll introduce myself! I'm currently a Sophomore, about to be Junior, and I go to Union High School On top of being this year's LTG, I'm also currently in my school's yearbook team, as well as secretary of NHS. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, creating new outfits, and binge-watching shows (good AND bad). Now that you know a little bit about me, how about we learn more about what an LTG actually is?
As LTG, I intend on growing our division throughout my term! I will act as a sort of liaison between our division and the T-O district. I'm also responsible for keeping everyone up to date on important info, and I plan on executing this in numerous ways. I will host divisional council meetings (DCMs as I will call them) every month in order to inform you all of new events and information coming our way I have also made a division Instagram account, which I'll link in the contact info page. The final, and probably most convenient way, of learning about new updates is through these monthly newsletters! As I'm starting my term, be expecting emails from me personally regarding club contact info for the clubs in our division, as well as an introductory email! Like I mentioned, I'm honored to be your new LTG, so let's make it an amazing year!
As mentioned before, our first divisional council meeting will be held sometime this month! Along with the newsletter, there should be a google form attached to the email that I want you all to submit in order for us to find the most fitting time for everyone. At this first DCM, I will include a PowerPoint about myself and about the goals I have set for our division this year. We will also discuss about future DCM scheduling's at this meeting, so attendance is highly recommended
Hopefully by now, most of your clubs should have held their officer elections. If they have not done this yet, please make it a priority before the end of the school year I hope to be able to collect all the new officers contact info sooner than later that way we can go into this new year smoothly!
