SUNRISE: OCTOBER 7, 1974 - SUNSET: NOVEMBER 3, 2024

Dennis LaMont Malone, better known as “Dank,” was born in Prescott, Arkansas on October 7, 1974 to Robert and Ruthie Malone. He was a member of Cothran Chapel C.M.E. Church in Prescott, Arkansas. He was a faithful employer at TA Travel Center as Supervisor of Maintenance for many years until his death He was known as a handy-man for both family and the community as there was nothing he could not repair or put together. He was educated in the Prescott School System of which he was a loyal and die-hard Curley Wolves fan until his death Dennis’ presence was notably infamous at every game as he was assuredly the biggest cheerleader for the Prescott Curley Wolves. He seriously could have been their mascot! They could count on his faithful support through wins as well as losses, but to Dennis, the Wolf Pack were always winners in his heart no matter the final game outcome. He was also a huge Green Bay Packers fan!
Dennis was a humble soul that, much like his father, knew no strangers. He loved people unconditionally, which made him very approachable and fun to be around. It was impossible to be around Dank and not feel genuinely loved, cared about, and accepted. He had a way of making everyone feel important and respected. Dank had a bigger than life personality that would brighten even the darkest room. His fun-loving character could not be ignored at any event. It would not be long before you would either hear or see him as he loved to dance, make jokes, and let you know he was in the place. He was known for making the best out of any situation and finding the good in everyone.
Dennis was greatly loved by his family. His special friend of 19 years, Brittney Evans, loved him dearly and will share a history of many fun and loving memories and adventures. She was dedicated to Dennis until his death. He was truly an amazing father and grandfather. His children and grandchildren adored him not only for his undying love and commitment to them but for his often comical interactions that would leave them busting at the seams in laughter. His nieces and nephews also adored him as his home was their meeting place to come together and have fun. He is loved by his mother and five siblings who will miss his presence at future family gatherings and know that these gatherings will never be the same without “Dank.” He was known and loved by the Prescott community as well as surrounding areas. He was always very mannerable and kind to all he encountered. To know him is to love him His presence will be greatly missed!
Dennis Malone is preceded in death by his father, Robert Malone, Sr. To cherish his memory is his mother, Ruthie Lee Malone; his devoted special friend, Brittney Evans of Prescott, Ark; Five children: My’Kayla Malone of North Little Rock, Ark; De’Quan Malone of Prescott, Ark; Dy’Aisha Anderson of Hope, Ark; TiQuan Box of Prescott, Ark; and Katlin Gentry of Arkadelphia, Ark.
