It’s the 4 anniversary of A BLACK SPACE! In these last for years, we ’ ve been building a community of kin and allies that are as passionate about our bold, futuristic mission of liberating Black folks through culture bearing, th
oral tradition, and ancestral craft. As the Found(her) and Executive Director, I’ve used my talent and resolve to keep the mission alive by utilizing my talent and resolve to continue telling the stories of my people. For our anniversary, my call to action are four simple things:
1.Enjoy your freedom
2.Read this (and every) volume of THE NINETEENTH
3.Donate to A BLACK SPACE to support our programs
4.Support other organizations that contribute to arts + culture
