ABE Global is an internationally renowned awarding organisation that has been at the forefront of developing business education since we were founded, as the Association of Business Executives, in 1973.
We are not-for-profit and our mission is to empower people to transform their lives and communities through gaining high-quality business, leadership and entrepreneurial skills. We provide qualifications, programmes and quality assurance for schools, further education and higher education. Our qualifications are well recognised and provide a pathway onto the final year of a Bachelors degree or direct entry to a Masters degree often at a fraction of the usual cost
We also produce leading-edge research and policy recommendations which support the communities we serve by helping to shape and strengthen education systems and create the best conditions for businesses to flourish.
ABE is regulated in the United Kingdom by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) and it is recognised by similar regulatory authorities in many other countries.
In 2023 ABE became an independent subsidiary of The Institute of Leadership (IoL) a charity founded in 1947 dedicated to unlocking leadership potential.
This means ABE learners benefit from one year’s complimentary studying membership of IoL and a further year at a special price. ABE Level 5 graduates can join The Institute of Leadership as full Members and use the MIoL postnominals

Simple steps to a degree with ABE
The credits ABE units carry are widely recognised by the academic community in the UK and many other countries. Therefore, most universities and institutes in credit-based countries recognise ABE qualifications for exemptions against similar units
In addition we have a partnership with the University of Hertfordshire (UH) which offers a direct transition from any ABE Level 5 or Level 6 Diploma onto the UH BA (Hons) Business Administration (top-up) at a highly competitive price that is only available to ABE qualification holders The programme is delivered online and facilitated through ABE and ABE centres. A commission is paid to centres for each student enrolled onto the UH top-up so it provides ABE centres with a strong marketing opportunity as well as the chance to generate revenue.
There are many progression options open to our qualification holders, but the more ABE levels they do, the more money they are likely to save!

For people who want to work for themselves, we have two short qualifications to help them develop essential know-how.
