The ABE Global success story

ABE Global is an internationally renowned awarding organisation that has been at the forefront of developing business education since we were founded, as the Association of Business Executives, in 1973.

We are not-for-profit and our mission is to empower people to transform their lives and communities through gaining high-quality business, leadership and entrepreneurial skills We provide qualifications, degree pathways, bespoke capacity-building programmes and quality assurance services which give educators a choice of face-to-face, digital delivery, or blended learning. We also produce leading-edge research and policy recommendations which support the communities we serve by helping to shape and strengthen education systems, and creating the best conditions for businesses to flourish

ABE is regulated in the United Kingdom by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) and it is recognised by similar regulatory authorities in many other countries.

In 2023 we became an independent subsidiary of The Institute of Leadership a charity founded in 1947 dedicated to unlocking leadership potential.

ABE qualifications: business portfolio

ABE offers Ofqual regulated qualifications in Business Management, Human Resources, and Marketing up to Level 6 (Bachelors degree level).

We are proud to say that they develop the most dynamic and up-to-date skill set on the market. Our Level 5 and 6 qualifications can be used to top up to a degree delivered online through our exclusive partnership with the University of Hertfordshire or one of the numerous other partner universities we work with, or which independently recognise the credit value of our qualifications (widely accepted in many countries).

In 2024, our portfolio will expand further with a Level 5 Leadershipthemed qualification plus a 120 Level 3 Diploma themed around our three specialisms in business, leadership and entrepreneurialism.

Affordability:

ABE is a not-for-profit organisation. We strive to keep our costs affordable whilst ensuring we provide qualifications and services of the highest quality.

ABE’s pay-as-you-go model means learners can spread ABE payments and centres can provide a payment and delivery schedule that suits their learners and business model.

Three steps to a degree with ABE

The credits ABE units carry are widely recognised by the academic community in the UK and many other countries Therefore, most universities and institutes in credit-based countries recognise ABE qualifications for exemptions against similar units.

In addition we have a partnership with the University of Hertfordshire (UH) which offers a direct transition from any ABE Level 5 or Level 6 Diploma onto the UH BA (Hons) Business Administration (top-up) at a highly competitive price that is only available to ABE qualification holders. The programme is delivered online and facilitated through ABE and ABE centres A commission is paid to centres for each student enrolled onto the UH top-up so it provides ABE centres with a strong marketing opportunity as well as the chance to generate revenue

Business Start-up and Entrepreneurship

For people who want to work for themselves, we have two short qualifications to help them develop the know-how they need to succeed.

For educators, these courses are an ideal opportunity to add value to vocational training courses in areas that frequently lead to selfemployment such as hairdressing or building trade skills.

During this course learners create a digital marketing plan which will build practical skills and knowledge of using digital technology to improve business performance.
