Syara V., Olivia D. and myself were tasked with connecting the environment around us to the structure we were going to make. We chose to illuminate the roots with water bottles which evokes the theme of reflection on past mistakes because we commonly associate water bottles with pollution which is the biggest mistake in human history

Topological Transformation

The Topological Transformations project challenged us to recreate a spacious object with numerous techniques and material. We were also to draw what we saw and construct plan views of this object.

Creating Pattern, Color, Texture

For this we were first tasked with creating a stamp and creating patterns with it which would lead to us finding foreground middleground and background tones. Next we had to incorporate colors into the patterns. The colors we chose were to create depth and texture within our folded figure

Visual Hierarchy The task was to a one dimensional pattern into a 3d model that visually represents your pattern while not be a simple extrusion of the shapes. We also had to make all sides look different. This project challenged us to think of a different way to make certain objects pop with not only color but with visual hierarchy.
