Not Wright Brand specializes in sneaker travel bags, sporting goods, and apparel. They are the first black owned company to produce a professional basketball that can be utilized for official use.
Not Wright¿ means to “own who you are”! Tari Wright’s daughter is autistic and he would tell her “Don’t think your disability is your downfall. You need to own it because no one is going to feel sorry for you in this world, especially being a minority as well. You can be anything you want no matter what. You’re always going to be "not right" in others eyes, but own it and be the best version you can be”.
Wright was an individual that also went through many ups and downs in life as well. He was told that he was not right and wouldn’t succeed in life. So, he decided to own it and be the best version of himself that he can be. His last name influenced the decision on naming his company. "I wanted to show our people that anything is possible no matter what you go through. I overcame adversity and was able to not only attain my honors bachelor's degree in business administration/entrepreneurship, but to also make this brand happen" – Tari Wright.
