PETITA PER AQUAM
Year: Concept : 2022 -2023
The verb Claim drives the design process
Thisproject islocated by the creek metro station in Dubai UAE. There isa creek on the other side of the metro station. Itisa building that represents the flow of water and embraces it by allowing water to take claim of it as water is brought in from the existing creek into the building area that creates breaking points and therefore splits the building mass. Part of the building areas are dedicated to refugee swimmer sisters Yusra and Sarah Mardini.

Existing Site Plan
Final Proposed Site Plan
The site is located in the UAE Dubai by the creek metro station. It has a really hot climate, and the creek area is quite underdeveloped therefore there is very minimal shade around making the environment even hotter. The water body on one side of the creek cools down that area making that space comfortable for the users . This site was chosen due to the fact that it is underdeveloped therefore giving more chances and opportunity for the proposed building design to claim the site and possibly even become and landmark for the area.

Exploded Axonometric Drawing
The green roof creates a comfortable space for the building users. It allows for interaction between the different building users and is open to the public. This way people can interact with the building itself and not just the indoor spaces
Out door sitting green roof
The water brought in from the creek to claim the site is used both for cooling down the environment and also serves as a swimming pool which is somewhat an exhibition in itself and people can watch the swim
The points in which the water passes through the building therefore causing the building mass to be split. This allows for more spaces to be able to directly interact with the water coming in. Hence the water claiming the building
Swimming pool
Water claims through the site and not just the proposed building mass as the water path runs from the creek directly into my area of intervention
Breaking points
There is only one entrance and exit point to and from the building as well as too and from the metro This enebles me to claim the way people move on site and it also prevents confusion on the access whereabouts. You exit from the metro into a cool and welcoming courtyard space. The metro exit leads directly into the proposed building environment.

CERAMIC MUSEUM ACADEMY OF DESIGN AND ART
Concept: 2022 From within a vase (ceramics)
Year:
This museum has a vase shaped atrium as it goes with the functions of the museum and it also makes the overall design more interesting. There is an outdoor area for the cafes and by the theater on top of he first floor for people to interact.
On the ground floor is an exhibition of incomplete ceramic work which has to be air or sundried therefore letting the people to see the process in the making of ceramics.

LAKDIYANI
Year: Concept: 2021 Finding a sense of belonging
Bringing the community together as one in a breathable, comfortable and convenient environment. The building has been carefully designed to ensure that all rooms regardless of their positions gets a good amount of sunlight and ventilation. No room is deprived the opportunityto receive either of these advantages

HOUSE DIAGRAM
Diagrams form the basis for analyzing existing precedents and they generate entirely new works of architecture. Diagramming is a great vehicle for architectural explanations.
