Each branch meeting is completely free to attend and welcomes new members
What you can expect:
Your local branch meetings are held regularly and give you an opportunity to listen, engage and learn from industry experts, technical presentations, legislative updates and more in a face-to-face and/or online setting from local businesses, associations and professionals.
You will also have the opportunity to attend site visits and see how the design and built environment operates across different scenarios. These are widely enjoyed meetings where longstanding and new members can meet and put their heads together to discuss current events and common issues often encountered in your roles and by the industry.

The Institute provides regulators with independent and unbiased advice based on experiences in the design and building sector
BOINZ is committed to representing the views and concerns of all those in the industry, particularly the end user, continuously advocating for the important work our members do to achieve quality building outcomes.
In advocating for the right building outcomes the Institute’s advocacy operates to inform Ministers and Government Department staff, and assist with the development of NZ standards and industry guidelines. As a member you have the opportunity to contribute your knowledge and experiences to these.
