Aalesund Protective Wear is a full-service provider of workwear, rainwear, life jackets, and buoyancy aids. Every day, we work to develop products that provide protection, whether it be against the forces of nature or extreme external influences such as static electricity and electric arcs. We do this through the brands Regatta, Strakofa, and Aalesund Oljeklede.

When we develop new products or improve existing collections, we often collaborate with test users and agencies in relevant industries. We do this to get feedback from those who have first-hand knowledge of the work environments and, therefore, know what is required of the products. This, combined with our knowledge, enables us to create products that provide comfort and safety.

From comfortable overalls to multi-certified clothing – Strakofa supplies workwear to a number of segments.

Aalesund Oljeklede are known for their robust rainwear adapted to sectors such as fisheries, aquaculture, industry and contractors.

Regatta develops life jackets and buoyancy aids for both the professional and leisure markets.

Since 1891, hard-working professionals have given Aalesund Oljeklede insights into what is needed to stay dry and comfortable at work. We had our breakthrough when the Doggerbank bib came on the market over 70 years ago, and we have grown to become an iconic brand in the waterproof workwear segment.

LIFE JACKETS AND BUOYANCY AIDS

At Regatta, we have always focused on developing buoyancy aids and life jackets for the professional market. Our first floatation suit saw the light of day in the 1970s, and since then, we have continued to develop products that will help you stay safe at work. To design and develop products that meet your needs, we often collaborate with actors from relevant industries, such as the Norwegian Offshore Directorate. This helps us understand what your tasks require, both in terms of comfort, fit and buoyancy.

Therefore, we have developed several products adapted to demanding work situations, including high-vis products or products with limited flame spread.
