Sheldrake’s mission is to inspire awareness and action in the community and to preserve, protect, and enhance local resources. Set on 60+ acres on Weaver Street in Larchmont, Sheldrake offers school field trips, weekly classes, school-break camps, Scout visits, clean-ups, private experiences, visiting nature programs, and more.

Spring Weekly Programs

Forest Friends – After-school drop-off program for ages 3-5

Nature Detectives – After-school drop-off program for grades K-2

Mindfulness in Nature – 90-minute mindful nature immersion for adults

Coffee, Conversation, and the Climate – Online climate discussion forum for adults via Zoom

All We Can Save Circle – In-person climate-action group for adults (FREE)

Superintendent’s Conference Day (grades K-2) – Wednesday, March 8

Spring Break Mini-Camp - Week 1: April 3-6; Week 2: April 10-13

June Mini-Camp (ages 3-6) – 4 weeks in June when preschool is out (register by week)
