This class is taught by Stephanie Hart and is designed to improve muscle, strength, range of movement and balance through exercises that utilize a chair for seated exercises and standing support.

Advanced Art Class

Day: Wednesday

Time: 1:00 - 3:00 pm

Fee: FREE with Senior Center Membership

Art instructor, Pat Sutherland enters her 50th year teaching at the Town of Mamaroneck Senior Center. She is a professional artist that has exhibited her paintings in museums and galleries in the United States and abroad. She offers professional advice and instruction while students work on their personal art piece. Students must bring their own art supplies (acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastel or charcoal) and have their own project in mind to work on. This class displays work at Annual Art Exhibit at Larchmont Library each spring.

Chair Yoga

Please join certified yoga instructor Ellen Cohen for a seated yoga fitness class. The class includes building strength and stamina, stretching and guided meditation and breathing.

Stay Strong & Fit Exercise

Day: Wednesday Time: 1:00 pm & 2:0 0pm

Fee: FREE with Senior Center Membership

Join our instructor John O’Connor, for an exercise program designed to improve agility, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility and strength. This class is brought to us by the Mainstream Program and Westchester County Department of Senior Programs & Services.

Dancercise Day: Monday & Wednesday Time: 10:30 am

This low intensity dance class is instructed by staff member, Kathleen Flynn. This class consists of line dancing that blends aerobics and dance moves. All levels are welcome.

Zumba Gold

Day/Time: Thursday 10:30am (Chair Class) & 12:00pm (Standing)

Fee: FREE with Senior Center Membership

Join Stephanie Hart for a total-body wellness program that feels like a party while it revitalizes your mind and body. Zumba Gold classes provide modified, low-impact moves for older adults. The Chair class alternates between a seated dance and a standing dance.
