Morning Drop Off Program
For campers who need to start their camp day earlier. Campers can arrive for the Morning Drop Off program. An option to purchase breakfast will be available through the ice rink concessionaire for an additional fee. This program is supervised by a Camp Administrator and Camp Counselors.
Time: 8:00 – 9:00 am
Weekly Fee: Week 1 Weeks 2-6
Resident: $40 $50
Nonresident: $60 $70
After Camp Extended Day Program
Campers who would like to extend their camp day can sign up for this program at Hommocks. After camp activities will begin with a snack time (provided by the ice rink concessionaire, price included in fee) followed by recess style activities, ex. free play, basketball, lawn games, board games, etc. This program is conducteded by the Backyard Sports staff.
Time: 3:00 – 4:30 pm
Weekly Fee: Weeks 1 & 6 Weeks 2-5
Resident: $100 $125
Nonresident: $130 $145
Summer Day Camps
Teen Travel Camp
Resident Registration Begins: Wednesday, February 15th at 9 am. Nonresident Registration Begins: Wednesday, March 1st at 9am. Registration Deadline: Friday, March 31st.
The Teen Travel Camp is for teens entering grades 7th - 9th. Trips may be scheduled throughout NY, NJ, CT, & PA. Each day there is a different day trip scheduled. Trips may include Theme Parks, Water Parks, City Tours, Arena Tours, Indoor Entertainment Centers, Ball Games, Indoor Rock Climbing, Mini Golf, Bowling, Movies, and Aquariums.
The 2023 itinerary will not be available at the time of registration. Campers must have a flexible schedule. Departure and return times will differ daily, a typical day will be 9:00 am – 3:30 pm although, some trips may depart as early as 7:30 am and return by 7:00 pm. A school bus or coach bus will be used for trips. The fee covers the expense of the activities. Food for some trips will be provided, a bag lunch and/or money will be required on other trips.
The Teen Travel Camp Handbook is posted on our website. We encourage parents to familiarize themselves and review our camp policies and procedures with their child prior to registering.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. A waitlist will be formed after the deadline or if the maximum is reached before the deadline. A minimum of 30 campers and maximum of 40 campers are required per session.

Register same child for both sessions and receive a $100 discount.
Location: Drop off/pick up each day Hommocks Park Ice Rink parking lot.
Please note: Refunds will be issued prior to the registration deadline. After the deadline, no refunds will be issued unless the vacancy can be filled. A 10% administrative fee will be charged with any refund issued.
