STAGING Time for a little reflection! When I started working for KMC I was single with no idea what it was like to have kids. Now, some 29 years later, I have been married for 26 years and my oldest son just got married. Wow, how time flies! So, what does a middle-aged guy do at his son’s wedding? He reflects on life and remembers all of those great memories of when his boys were young. The memories of their first helmet, their first bike and then the first time they were faster than me on a day out riding. The good ole days, and I will cherish every memory forever. Officially I only have two sons, but I consider myself lucky because I have been able to be a small part of so many young lives while at Kawasaki. I can remember the legends of our sport before they were legends. The days when they were just kids doing what they loved with a dream of making it big. Some did achieve those goals and others have achieved greatness in other ways. I love to see our old riders at the races and see the men and women that they have become. Some are industry icons, some are still living the dream as mechanics, drivers, coaches and trainers. Some are moms and dads themselves now. As we begin the 2014 season, I will look at the new faces of Team Green, whether it is our technicians or new riders, and start the process of building memories all over again. I hope the memories that they build will be as special as the memories that continue to grow in my mind of the great people that I continue to come in contact with. Just living the dream here at Kawasaki and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! Let the good times roll TM Reid Nordin Senior Manager Racing

*Fork Height is measured from top of fork tube to top of fork clamp. **250/450 Recommended to have the axle pushed back, creating a longer wheelbase for improved stability and traction. This will require a longer chain. Taller riders may not benefit from the longer wheelbase. ****Stock 86.3mm pull rods on the 2002-2014 KX65 can be exchanged for optional 85.3mm or 87.3mm to raise or lower the seat height by 45mm each. *****Refer to the 2007-2014 KX65 owner’s manual for position information. FOOTNOTES - Rebound and compression adjustments are the number of clicks out from full hard (all the way in). Front fork oil level in millimeters (mm) is a measured distance or in cc’s for a measured volume. Rear shock sag level is measured in millimeters (mm). All optional spring part numbers can be found at your local Kawasaki dealership.

*SPECIAL NOTE - Team Green recommends that any suspension sag measurements be done when shock is cold. Always test new setting before racing. N/mm = Newtons / millimeter - Kgf = kilograms force Conversion Formula for each method of measurement: N/mm Spring Rate x 0.102 = Kgf/mm Spring Rate and Kgf/mm Spring Rate x 9.807 = N/mm Spring Rate FOR 2013-2014 KX450, always be sure to check fork air pressure Bbefore eac ride for consistent settings *Team Green Specifications subject to change without notice.
