January 1 – February 20, 2024 Pisgah Climbing School Learn More Ready to try something new? Ice climbing is a fun and unique way to experience the Appalachian Mountains. It is also a great way to train for those bigger mountains out west and internationally if those alpine summits are an item on your bucket list. We can provide all the equipment that you’ll need – boots, crampons, ice tools, etc. You just come with warm clothing, a waterproof outer layer, and food/water for the day!

Tube World, located in Maggie Valley across from Ghost Town in the Sky, is the home of great snow tubing fun each winter! Their groomed slope is made for riding specially designed inner tubes. You ride their moving carpet lift to the top of the hill, then tube your way down the snow-covered run. Fun for the whole family!
