CURIOSO

ENCHANTMENT RESORT

525 BOYNTON CANYON RD . DESIGN ONE STUDIO

Enchantment Resort in Sedona stands out as a remarkable example of building in deep harmony with nature Nestled in Boynton Canyon, the resort’s construction demanded not only technical expertise, but a genuine sensitivity to the region’s dramatic geology and cultural significance, especially with respect to the Yavapai Tribe. The development process involved meticulous site planning and intensive collaboration with architects and designers. Every element from the positioning of casitas and suites to the selection of finishes was chosen to match the red rock landscape, often using authentic 14-inch adobe bricks sourced from Mexico and locally-milled Douglas fir beams.

The team had to devise creative solutions, such as building decks around mature trees, ensuring that the environment shaped the resort rather than the other way around Major renovations, totaling $25M, included expanding multi-level pool areas, constructing new decks, and introducing the Trail House center Each improvement required efficient trades coordination, respect for tribal and environmental guidelines, and precise craftsmanship Ultimately, the project’s success lies in its seamless integration with Sedona’s natural beauty, showcasing the unique role of a contractor as both creator and steward ensuring that every detail honors the land, history, and the guest’s immersive experience.

In addition to the restaurant, our team renovated the 15,000-square-foot Agave Spa, a signature feature of the resort that blends modern wellness amenities with desertinspired design. The spa includes 27 treatment rooms, a movement studio, sauna, steam, whirlpool, and co-ed relaxation spaces, each crafted to create a tranquil, restorative environment. Incorporating advanced technology such as red-light therapy and hydro-facial equipment required precise coordination across multiple disciplines, balancing technical execution with refined design. The result is a serene sanctuary that harmonizes with the Sonoran Desert while elevating the guest experience
