Attention to acoustics and lighting is crucial, aiming to create a lively yet inviting ambiance that showcases both communal and intimate dining spaces. Unique design features like the Kamayan Feast service on banana leaves require robust, flexible tables and easy-clean surfaces. Coordination with specialized suppliers for custom furnishings, artwork, and greenery, as well as integrating modern kitchen technology, helps ensure both aesthetic consistency and practicality for day-to-day restaurant operations.




The scope included installation of commercial kitchen equipment, exhaust systems, and back-of-house upgrades to ensure a smooth workflow for staff. We coordinated finishes that reflect the energetic style of the restaurant, while balancing the durability and performance required in a high-volume dining environment Front-of-house details such as counter layout, lighting, and seating integration were built with both guest experience and service flow in mind
Working within a tight schedule and heavily coordinated trades, the project demanded precision planning and execution The result was a modern, vibrant space ready to serve guests quickly and comfortably


This renovation involved transforming a 5,800square-foot space into a serene, modern Japanese dining environment The project emphasized the Japanese philosophy of wabisabi with natural, raw materials and a calming neutral palette It required precise coordination of open dining, sushi bar, spacious patio, and full bar areas, reflecting craftsmanship and attention to detail that honors both traditional culture and contemporary comfort. The design incorporated custom handmade ceramics and preserved some existing structural elements, blending old with new seamlessly.

Projects require precise sequencing, coordination of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems, and collaboration with local authorities. Achieving fast-track delivery while minimizing community disruption is key across growing locations reflecting the brand’s rapid expansion and urban development challenges.



This project was a sophisticated lounge and bar requiring expert coordination of design, equipment installation, and construction sequencing The build involved creating a stunning centerpiece Tobin Ellis bar with backlit features, a banquet hall, and a versatile kitchen tailored for both small plates and catering Close collaboration with owners, architects, and kitchen specialists ensured timely delivery despite space constraints and equipment lead times, resulting in an elegant, high-quality venue complementing neighboring fine dining establishments.
This project involved construction of a new 5,800-square-foot gastropub and tavern on a previously vacant lot The build required precise coordination of structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems while preserving the historic feel of downtown Glenview. Timely sequencing of the exterior shell and interior fit-out ensured minimal disruption. Collaboration with the village and stakeholders was key to adhering to funding timelines and delivering a high-quality, upscale restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the river, honoring Glenview’s heritage and community identity.


This project involved transforming the historic Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Des Plaines into a 19,500-square-foot modern Mediterranean restaurant The project preserved original architectural features like stained glass and lighting while adding a new kitchen and an outdoor patio overlooking Lake Opeka Renovations included new HVAC, sprinklers, deck lighting, and a concrete pad for outdoor rentals Sequencing and collaboration with the park district and restaurateurs were critical to balance preservation with modern functionality The complex adaptive reuse project took around 18 months, showcasing expertise in integrating historic elements with sustainable construction practices to deliver a unique dining venue.
Federales Logan Square transformed the former Marcello’s Father & Son site into an 8,500-square-foot restaurant with a 2,790-square-foot outdoor patio The project featured a retractable roof, modern HVAC installation, and industrial design elements Precise sequencing was crucial to minimize disruption in the bustling Logan Square neighborhood. Collaboration with stakeholders ensured sound control, sustainability, and delivery of a vibrant tequila and taco bar with indoor-outdoor flexibility. The build balanced structural upgrades, mechanical systems, and interior finishes to create a high-energy urban dining destination.


5,000-square-foot outdoor patio overlooking Lake Opeka. We had to carefully integrate new HVAC, sprinklers, deck lighting, and a concrete pad for outdoor rentals while maintaining original elements like stained glass and historic lighting.

The transformation of Uchi Scottsdale was both a technical and creative accomplishment. The renovation involved converting the former Bandera restaurant into a refined dining space that harmonizes Arizona’s warm, earthy tones with Japanese aesthetics Key features included the installation of sculptural arched wood ceilings inspired by southwestern ramadas, custom tables, and flooring in sandy shades all reflecting a sophisticated yet welcoming ambiance
Coordinating with Hai Design Studio, Hazelbaker Rush, and AV3 Design, the project required precision and adaptability, from integrating local and national artwork to ensuring the space suited a 207-seat dining room with patio and bar areas Extra care was paid to finishes, lighting, and acoustics to foster both intimacy and energy Every step, from sourcing materials to final installation, was focused on honoring the chef’s vision, Scottsdale’s vibrant culinary scene, and delivering an inviting, elevated experience for every guest.
