360 Media Group was founded in 2019 with a mission to help users make better decisions in the automotive sector. In the last five years our operations have evolved, and now include delivering go-to market insights, which inform supply-chain strategies, through to influencing communication planning using brand KPIs. The latter is delivered via our FleetTrends initiative. 360’s thought-leadership programme has collaborated with leading brands to deliver white papers, webinars and market reports. We’ve augmented these crucial insights with 360 Media Group’s expert opinion.

FleetTrends insights have been tracking change across the fleet market. The fleet manager role has evolved in recent times, with two tiers of fleet responsibility: operational and convenience. The operational fleet focuses on managing productivity and costs using specialised resources; while the convenience fleet engages internal stakeholders and C-suite specialists, such as finance, HR and procurement.
Today, every fleet needs to do more with less, and it takes significant time and resource to build knowledge and formulate strategies around the low-emissions agenda. This is causing the knowledge gap to widen in this sector, with fleets rating their EV expertise at just 6/10.
As the electric-vehicle revolution expands the entire fleet ecosystem, it compels fleet managers to learn, evaluate, purchase and implement solutions in a sector they are unfamiliar with.
Meanwhile, the changing media landscape means that fleets can access more information and opinion, from more providers, across more platforms… which takes more time to process.
Reducing the administrative burden remains a priority for fleets, and FleetWise addresses this need to be more efficient. We aggregate advice, opinion and insights to increase knowledge, and we compile comprehensive databases of product information, to help streamline shortlisting and evaluation.
Suppliers can join the FleetWise marketplace to reveal and explain their products to fleet buyers; while these buyers will find carefully-curated product lists and insight to save them time and money.

FleetWise, is the new marketplace for knowledge and trusted products to help future-proof fleets. The combination of compelling insights, trusted advice and comprehensive product information from a single source helps time-poor fleets to streamline their decision-making and make better procurement choices.
FleetWise solves three problems for fleet managers:
1
The continuous search for new suppliers
For many, running a fleet is part of a broader function such as HR, facilities, or procurement. As such, knowledge levels vary, often resulting in a lack of familiarity with trends and solutions from the supply chain. As fleets typically rely on 10 information sources to assess hundreds of product providers, accessing consistent content is both challenging and time-consuming.
2
Keeping up to date with legislation and market developments
As fleets transition to electric vehicles, the need to understand costs, grants and taxation, etc, becomes ever greater. The growth in alternative funding methods, shorter-term leases, an increase in reporting and stakeholder collaboration, all add to the complexity.
3
Future-proofing fleets (and fleet-manager roles)
Organisations must prepare for the broadening of the fleet role to accommodate EVs and EV-charging infrastructure. They need to upskill and familiarise their fleet managers with new processes, suppliers and skills.
The FleetWise platform is a crucial support system for fleets, who spend a combined £15 billion annually in an ecosystem consisting of over 500 suppliers across 14 core categories.
The FleetWise platform delivers information simply and conveniently, through its comprehensive and carefully-curated product guides. New and existing products co-exist, and are searchable by brand, price, category and ratings. FleetWise is media neutral, so buyers can specify and customise their preferred way to access information, be that video, audio or digital content. FleetWise is a ‘one-stop shop’ for advice, trusted products and insights –helping to deliver a streamlined buying process.

The digital marketplace provides solutions to all the current challenges in fleet. The 100 Trusted Brands report, now in its third year, surveys fleet opinion on over 250 brands in the fleet supply chain. With 400 respondents twice-yearly, this is an authoritative appraisal of suppliers. The Trusted Brands icon is widely recognised as an independent validation of supplier trust, with 71% of fleets citing trust as a deciding factor when evaluating suppliers.
The report is the benchmark for fleet tenders and buying shortlists, comprising the only 100% fleetendorsed list of suppliers across all core supply categories.
The half-year update of the 100 Trusted Brands report is December 2024, with a subsequent Q1 update in 2025. It will be shared with 35,000 UK fleets, making it the single largest distribution of any UK fleet report. As such, the Trusted Brands programme will now seek opinions on more brands, through the FleetWise marketplace.

FleetWise’s extensive reach means users can connect with fleet managers who are responsible for over two million vehicle procurement decisions. The audience can be viewed in fleet-size bandings and by vehicle size. SMEs make up the largest fleet type, with 22,000 such fleets in the sub-10vehicle banding.
FleetWise continuously researches its fleet audience to establish their approach to fleet management. It identifies key industry trends and measures their future predicted expenditure.
The most fleet buying power lies in our 200-plus-vehicles fleet banding. These large fleets are responsible for 1.5 million+ vehicles, or 78% of the total.
The Fleet1000 is a database of the 1000 biggest fleets in the UK. These are the ‘weather makers’ in the fleet sector; their buying power, influence and scale make this the ‘Gold Standard’ distribution list.
The Fleet1000 is updated quarterly, ensuring it is accurate, and that all fleets are operating at least 100 vehicles. We interact with key decision makers in the fleet management and sustainability functions.
There are multiple ways to reach the FleetWise audience, including through our magazine, monthly newsletters and sponsored HTMLs
FleetWise newsletters are distributed directly to 15,000 fleet managers.
360 Media Group also creates themed buying guides, which we share with 15,000 fleets, based on their profile of car and/or van ownership. The core purpose of FleetWise is to share relevant and accessible content. This is why we segment our audience so precisely into specific clusters, to enable very-targeted messages, maintaining the content’s relevance.
Sponsored HTML’s can be shared with up to 10 core industry sectors (as standard) or targeted to the recipient’s operating and buying characteristics. In this way, we match your products with the fleet managers most likely to be interested in engaging with them and purchasing them.
Fleet1000, the definitive database of corporate fleets, is available to access exclusively for our brand partners.
FleetTrends surveyed 400 fleets on their ops priorities, and 400 on their media use, to attain a robust sample across SMEs and corporates
The survey conducted in December 2023 provides the inside track on how fleets are planning to meet economic and trading challenges in 2024.
As supply-chain issues ease, fleets are prioritising investment in risk management, software, rental and EV services to realise their cost and admin reduction goals.
Key highlights include:
Most responding fleets believe they will be operating over 50% of their vehicles as EVs by 2026. 40% say they may change suppliers in the transition.
● 66% intend to invest in EV driver training
● 62% are interested in EV evaluation tools
● 60% are interested in EV-charging payment cards
● 70% of fleets intend to invest in workplace charging
● 43% expect to add to or change their telematics provider
Fleets predict an increase in expenditure, with costs set to rise, cash takers opting in and salary sacrifice extending their organisational buying power.
Unsurprisingly, the priorities for fleets are focused on efficiency.
For car fleets, this includes: reducing the administrative burden, greater flexibility on vehicle funding and cost reduction, while the transition to electric cars and employee retention are also very much in the mix.
Van fleets are on a similar journey, with cost reduction their number-one priority. Flexible funding, reducing the admin burden and freeing-up cash from fleet assets are also key. Transitioning to electric vans is seen as a priority for 1-in-4 fleets, reinforcing the disconnect between cost savings and electric vans. This is often caused by the multiple charging variables clouding cost transparency (which fleets recognise in the solutions required).
The key to unlocking the future vision for many fleets lies with the fleet supply chain. #FleetTrends ranks the responses across the top four priorities
to reveal the actions that fleets are planning to take.
Consolidating suppliers is the number-one enabler, with 18.2% citing this; while 17.6% of fleets plan to change their vehicle-funding method, and 1-in-7 expect to consolidate data to improve efficiencies. Meanwhile, 1-in-7 fleets also see switching suppliers as a priority.
Risk Management is poised for growth, with a net 61% of fleets planning to invest in it. Of those, 1-in-3 are reviewing their suppliers.
As businesses seek to consolidate data and suppliers, 59% of fleets are interested in investing more in Fleet Software, either reviewing their supplier or investing in the category for the first time.
Significant interest in the rental sector reflects the need for greater flexibility in vehicle funding.
Most responding fleets believe they will be operating over 50% of their vehicles as EVs by 2026. Upto 40% say they may change suppliers in the transition
