The girls were wearing blue skirts with CRETAN DIET NOW AND THEN blue blouses and long socks. That was the winter school uniform, so nobody had to worry about what to wear in the morning. -Education was more difficult and we didn’t have anyone to help us, my dad said with a serious Is it your first time as a headmaster? In the midst of a financial crisis, a refugees tragedy and overall pessimism, the creation of a school newspaper is a creative haven. The students involved learn to have a critical eye and view on issues like the above but also to look on the bright side of life. There should be and there is a bright side to life. For the 8th year our newspaper has been published. We have put all our love, creativity, energy, enthusiasm and hard work into it. This year we are proud to state that our newspaper was chosen to participate in a seminar in Athens that the Athenian – Macedonian Mass Media Agency offered. I as a teacher – co-ordinator am once again proud of my ‘‘staff’’. Keep Walking School !!! Ms. Koulizou English teacher, Co-ordinator.
