bonus & CONCLUSION
This character design is the first step of a development process working on an interactive animation for chagas prevention project. All character are designed on an attempt of finding authentic visual and cultural references from Ecuador. I propose three different characters (male, female, and a hero) which reflects the cultural diversity of the country. It can be seen from the use of traditional clothes, colors, ancient artifacts, and animal icon (iguana).
Please note that this is a work in progress, so feedback and input are very welcome. The next step is developing the entire asset, background and supporting materials. Zul Tinarbuko August 2019.
