KEEPING UP WITH ZETA OMICRON

Kappa Alpha Theta

This semester, Zeta Omicron raised a grand total of $4,446.81 for the national CASA program through our Glazin' for Good fundraiser and our raffle and merch sale at the Parent's Weekend Brunch. Thetas also showed their " pro humanitate" passion for service through participating in campus-wide traditions like Hit the Bricks and Project Pumpkin. During our Days of Service, Thetas volunteered in a variety of ways, including writing letters to a senior center and going to the Campus Gardens.

raised this semester for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)
Zeta Omicron sold Krispy Kreme doughnuts at the start of school to raise money for Court Appointed Special Advocates, our national philanthropy. Students bought them at our booth (right) and digital coupons were available so anyone could purchase a dozen and contribute to the fundraiser!
We hosted a Parent's Weekend Brunch this fall, and family members enjoyed mingling while supporting CASA through our gift basket raffle (right) and t-shirt sale.
Zeta Omicron participated in Hit the Bricks and Project Pumpkin this semester. Pictured on the right is our tent for Hit the Bricks, where we ran laps to raise money for the Brian Piccolo Cancer Research Fund. Before Halloween, Theta hosted a booth for the Project Pumpkin festival. We handed out candy and played games with children from local elementary schools and after-school programs.
Thetas danced the night away at our fall formal!
Our sisterhood retreat this semester was goat yoga. Sisters had a blast bonding with the sisterho goats!
Thetas cheered on the Demon Deacons at all the football games this semester!
ZO did themed chapters this semester. Some of these included hometowns (pictured on the left), pajama day, and Halloween costumes!

Next semester we look forward to welcoming new members after recruitment, supporting CASA through philanthropy, and continuing to grow closer as a sisterhood!
