Focusing our Vision The next step in the visioning process is to ask you what you think about Zion’s current health. During the month of February we are going to be encouraging you to complete an assessment. It will be an on-line assessment (paper copies will be available for those who are unable to take it on line.) Why take time to do a congregation-wide assessment? Because churches, like people, need an occasional check-up. A snapshot of where we are today so we can make good decisions about direction for the future. What does the assessment look like? It is a survey of about 90 questions that will take about 20-30 minutes to complete. The assessment can be completed electronically or by hand. The responses will be handled anonymously. How will the responses be used? They will be summarized and shared with everyone and used as part of the data being reviewed as we identify our vision and priorities for the future. Watch for more information about the Church Assessment Tool and our visioning process, Reaching for Tomorrow.
