Stewardship Question & Answer Q: What is the difference between Fundraising and Stewardship? A: Fundraising is commonly time-specific, and related to the accomplishment of a specific task or goal. Stewardship is yearround and always, with special emphasis times during the church year. Good stewardship raises money, but does so in the context of broader and deeper concern about giving as a way of life and not simply a donation to a project.

Building Fund Update Thank you for your financial support of God’s work through our congregation. Overall, our 2014 financial picture is good. Zion's 2014 operating budget is $772,000 which covers day-to-day ministry and staff costs. The building mortgage is $191,000 per year. Monthly contributions to the Building Fund are currently running slightly behind our monthly mortgage payment in 2014.

ELCA Women’s Gathering A gathering of the Women of the ELCA - Minneapolis Area Synod entitled, Women Together Restoring Justice in an Unjust World, will be held at Nativity Lutheran in Minneapolis on Oct. 3 and 4.
