e're looking at a lot of flowers this month. It's May, which is properly spring, and there's the Chelsea Flower show, so focus is on colour and freshness. Throughout this issue there are bright shades and floral patterns, plus conversations with actual florists, as well as a preview of the flower show itself. Foodwise, we're preparing for the new season with a focus on summer salads, courtesy of our friends at ScandiKitchen, and looking forward to Syon Park's annual Foodies Festival which is set to return this month with a wide array of tempting stalls and interesting newcomers. In fashion, we look at Daiwear's clever new performance workwear, which is designed for the office (not the gym) but feels as comfortable as any yoga outfit. We quiz the woman behind the brand as we covet her stylish key pieces. A large interiors section this month spans chair design, wall storage, floral displays and House of Hackney's chintzy new collection, while we take a philosophical look at home life for families with the School of Life. Travel takes us to Munich and Jamaica in search of interesting things to report, and there's the usual mix of diary dates, local events and property news too. We hope you enjoy the magazine.
