eisha Crosland’s new encaustic tile collection for Artisans of Devizes plays with her distinctive patterns on unusual tile shapes that fit together to create fabulous floor and wall tiling for interiors in a kaleidoscope of original colour. She says ‘ a good pattern is one that people can connect with. It must have a sense of familiarity but at the same time the design must surprise them with its freshness. Jigsaw does just that. The six patterned tile play with shape from squares to a diamond, fan and prolong hexagonal. These explore optic angles and stars, castellated edges, overlapping lines and dynamic geometrics.
