CHILDCARE UPDATES
Thefirstdayofschoolbeganwith12classroomsinfull swing—6Burkeclassroomsservingchildrenfrom8weeks to6yearsold,and6UniversalPre-Kclassroomsfor3and4-year-oldsacrossthreelocations:theYWCAfacility, TheHenryPannellLearningCenter,andReddingCircle. ParentOrientationNightswereheldgivingteachersthe chancetosharekeyinformationabouttheschoolyear. Thesesessionshelpedparentsgainaclear understandingofclassroomexpectations,thecurriculum, andteachingmethods—equippingthemtosupporttheir child’slearningathomeandstrengtheningtheyearlong partnershipbetweenfamiliesandeducatorsthatfosters ccess.
PreparationsarealreadyunderwayforourWinter HolidayMagictradition,whereourNewcomers& Friendsgenerouslyprovideagiftforeverychildto takehomehelpingtokeeptheholidayspiritalive andbright.
