Why
H
undreds of years ago the Holy Spirit touched this little village with His presence. Herrnhut, which means “the Lord’s watchful care” was established in 1722 by a group of Moravian refugees. As the meaning of its name implies, the town was founded on the people’s complete submission to, and trust in, God. As a result spiritual revival occured; bringing unity among believers, initiating over 100 years of non-stop prayer and igniting a passion for reaching the unreached. This gave birth to a fresh mission movement that had a revolutionary impact on the world. Today, another movement is rising from this place. It is composed of young
HUT men and women from around the world who have come together in Herrnhut to reach out to all the nations and share the Gospel. God continues to meet us in this place, pouring out revelation of himself, and his heart for the lost. YWAM having set its base in Herrnhut of all towns is clearly the divine work of the Holy Spirit. Standing on the shoulders of these missionary giants gone by, there is much blessing in YWAM Herrnhut that gives the potential to do great works for the Kingdom of God.

The command of the Great Commission is a command to the whole Body of Christ, not simply to the ones who chose to move cross-culturally. Whether you want to spend your life in China, in Parliament, on TV, behind a camera, in your home, in a coffee shop, or in a factory... you can be a world changer! The world is changing... choose to be a part of it! In the School of Strategic Missions we recognize that
the Bible speaks to all areas of life, all spheres of society. We focus on identifying strategic peoples, places, and seasons. We hear God’s voice and then act, always looking for creative ways to extend the Kingdom of God. Whatever your passion, talents and giftings are, God can use you! The challenge of our changing world requires new ideas, new strategies, new tactics for doing missions. We need to be able to think outside the box of traditional mission methods. We need to be able to dream with God of new ways to reach the unreached! The School of Strategic Missions will address all of these things. We will look at ways of thinking and principles from God that can be applied broadly rather than specific steps intended to focus you only in one direction. We NEED new workers on the field, but we also NEED God’s people in all areas of society, living out the Great Commission on a daily basis... changing the world around them!

The School of Worship is a place where we want to open our hearts for the new song, the revelations about the meaning of worship and how to minister to The Lord. As a school, we have the desire to improve our talents and reach excellence, in ministry, leadership and music. We want to be able to shout for joy as a response to the freedom and security that we find in Christ, and learn how to inspire and lead others to do the same. The purpose of School of Worship is to raise up worshippers and leaders with hearts bigger than themselves, who are continually receiving revelation of God’s glory and releasing it to the nations.

Intecessory Prayer
of
SOIP
The vision of the School of Intecessory Prayer is to see people come, be equipped, and launched back into their mission field with a deeper understanding of prayer and a greater intimacy with Jesus.  The SOIP is a duel- sided school. On the one side, we are very much focused on the personal relationship with God. We aim to cultivate a safe and comfortable environment yet challenging place for people to grow deeper in love and friendship with Jesus. As we strive to understand more about relationship with God, and deepen our intimacy with Him, greater authority comes. On the other side we look to be very practical. This includes training and equipping people with the tools they need to experience greater breakthrough in their ministry. We aim to address the spiritual first which then turns into observing the natural growth that follows. Our hope is to see a generation of young people enjoying sustainable and fruitful lives of prayer and partnering with God for change in our world.

Whether you realize it or not, the way you view the world is molded by the world around you; it is as if we are all wearing invisible glasses. These “glasses” are formed and as we grow up, learning about the world from our parents, teachers, and peers. Now, the problem is that since we live in this world, we usually get a wrong kind of glasses, the glasses of the world. When we wear those glasses, we see the world from the world’s perspective. What we need to do is to remove the old glasses and wear God’s glasses, as Paul explained in Romans 12:1-2. The goal of the SBCW is to help the students to examine the glasses they are wearing, and find a new pair designed by God. As you listen to the speakers, share your opinions, study culture and media, and live out your faith in daily world·view life, this process of “renewing of /ˈwərldˌvyo ͞ o/ the mind” happens. During this Noun: school, as you you experience the A set of ideas or transforming of your mind, the presuppositions world becomes visible through that people use God’s heart, and you will begin to interpret the to understand “what the will of world.
