DESIGN & ACTIVATION COMPUTALETA EXHIBITION STAND

Role: Concept, Scamping/Illustration, 2-D Drawing, Finished art I created an eye-catching exhibition stand by using the clients’ products in a unique and interesting way. Taking cues from a textural graphic Computaleta had already been using on their vehicles, I proposed using different opacities of film over pieces of cut acrylic which were attached to the exhibition framework.

Additional activations proposed included fitting sheets of car vinyl onto a work van, which would then be be used beyond the exhibition, and a live tug of war to test the strength of the vinyls.

DESIGN & ACTIVATION LYNN MALL CHRISTMAS ACTIVATION

Role: Concept, Scamping/Illustration, 2-D Drawing, Finished art I was briefed to create a larger than life Christmas activation using an existing mall-approved structure as a framework .

The initial concept was brought to life by proposing the existing structure be clad with snowcapped ginger bread panels. edged with icing and studded with lollies.

The house would be open ended, allowing shoppers to pass through and engage with the cozy interior scene, - complete with portraits of Santa’s elves above a twinkling faux fireplace.

The Main focal point was “Gingy”- the almost 3 meter tall gingerbread man standing on top of a Jolly Jammer biscuit - the perfect place for a social media snap!

I was given the brief to create the The Block New Zealand promotional zones in all Noel Leeming stores countrywide.

The challenge was that the promo was to stand alone and not interfere with other existing promotional materials instore, and needed to utilise existing promo structures such as pavillions and dump bins.

Initial scamps revolved around utilising temporary building/renovation structures to create these zones however these were logistically challenging and a simpler solution was sought.

Trestle tables were replaced by printed boxes, and timber walls became pull up banners.

Coupled with suspended ceiling posters a strong promotional zone was created.

CONCEPT & MANUFACTURE ASB “THE BIKE HUB”

Role: Concept, Scamping/Illustration, 2-D Drawing, Finished art The challenge here was to create a bespoke bike storage unit that could contain and lock three bikes, helmets and vests.

The hub also needed to be easily accessed within the space allowed - under the stairs.

As the entrance foyer of the building is vast, better awareness of the bike zone was recreated by additional digital and surface graphics.

Role: Design, Finished art As VW are sponsors of Merida mountain bikes I was asked to create a vehicle wrap utilising existing action imagery supplied by Merida.

Coupled with type offset by a splash of vivid colour I created a dynamic and eye-catching layout sure to attract attention on the road.

Role: Design, 2-D Drawing, Finished art As part of the BNZ Terrace fitout in Wellington the team was tasked with creating unique wayfinding solutions for the lower ground floor.

The signage I created for the e-bike charging station is one of many elements that work together to create a fun and easily to navigate lower ground floor .

The universally recognised image of a power lead and plug with blue illuminated acrylic 3-d letters, creates a beacon for e-bike users to home in o n when entering the space.

To best display Toyota’s affiliated sponsors I created a revolving totem design. At approximately 6 foot tall it is a fun and engaging element to have on the dealership floor.

I created a unique piece crafted from machined aluminium, carbon fiber film and black acrylic.
